It's really impressive that they're offering a lot of indie games for free, alongside big titles like GTA V, Ark: Survival Evolved, and Hitman. These weekly or bi-weekly free game campaigns encourage us to spend more time on the Epic Games Store.
Not only do they promote popular games, but they also bring attention to games from smaller studios. This helps indie developers bring their games to a wider audience. My friends and I have built up a really great collection of games by adding these free games to our libraries, and even if some of us don't plan to play them right away, we'd rather add them to our libraries for future opportunities.
